Downloads
Download files into Boxee using a built in Torrent client.
You can add torrent files to download by adding an RSS feed which contains torrent files information.
Adding a file to download
Files are added to download through a torrent feed.
There are sites which serve torrents feeds for example
browse to http://www.legaltorrents.com and copy one of the rss links.
- At Boxee, go to App Box > My Feeds and click on Add New Feed
- At the Feed URL, write or paste the RSS feed.
- Select a Feed Type
- Click OK
- To select a file to download, go to Video > Internet and locate the icon of the feed you have just created.
- Click on one of the feed items.
- Click Download
- You have just added a file to download, and you can monitor the download progress using the Downloads section.
Public Torrents
We have prepared an application which contains feed of public downloads
- Go to App Box > New Repositories and add the application Public Torrents
- View the available files to download at Videos > Internet Videos > Public Torrents.
